Puzzle Games like Portal?
Any suggestions? Every time I think of puzzle games it's usually of the Tetris-style variety. Was thinking of playing through Portal again but would really like something brand new. Thanks

Do you like puzzle platformers? If so, I recommend Toki Tori and Puzzle Expedition. Both are incredibly difficult and will certainly tax your mental faculties.
That also immediately sprang to mind for me too. Other than Narbacular Drop - which isn't quite the same thing - I honestly can't think of any other games like Portal and Portal 2.ninjainspandex wrote:Portal 2

Braid, Limbo, Oddworld are all notable puzzle platformers.

Cool thanks. Guess for the sake of being thorough I should've mentioned I've played through Portal 2 single and multi.

Re: Puzzle Games like Portal?
A good first person puzzle game that I would recommend is Antichamber. It is a very surreal game that messes with your concept of perception and it is very challenging in its open ended design.
A great puzzle series that I feel people forget about, or never give it enough credit is the Myst series. The first game in the series is the one people really remember and is by far the worst in the series. The sequels, especially riven, URU and Myst V: End of Ages create a much more engaging and engrossing environment as you attempt to solve the puzzles and understand the culture of the D'ni (the long dead civilization of people who had written the worlds you teleport to).

I would highly recommend The Ball. It's another puzzle-based FPS, only one that requires you manipulate a massive pseudo-Mayan metal ball around with a "gun" that can attract and repulse it while you navigate through a mountainside and discover a long dead alien culture that isn't as long dead as you would like. There are some entertaining puzzles, and the combat is actually quite frantic once it actually begins.

Older... but for some reason I want to say The Lost Vikings.
