In terms of sales, yes, library? Wii-U already has more good games than the n64 probably.

Only if we don't count the Virtual Boy or WiiU.

That said, I have more N64 games than GameCube games, and I think the N64 is at least as strong as that system with regard to exclusives.

hmm, I'm not sure about that. Maybe the quality of the third party stuff is stronger on Wii U - but most of those are cross platform games whereas the n64 had more third party games that were unique….

Virtual Boy is portable not home. You're telling me you never carried a Virtual Boy around in your pocket!?

Even comparing exclusives, off the top of my head, GC is probably better.

The exclusive thing doesn't really mean much though, N64s life in America was basically N64 vs PSX, so by default a lot of its games are exclusive because Saturn had very little presence here - but even then, n64 had what, 300 games made for it in total, it doesn't really mean much if they had a lot of exclusives since they had nothing else :o.

Exclusives don't mean anything when your console is void of multiplats.

N64 had no 3rd party support, GC had a lot, and Wii-U as of now has ok amount for 7th gen stuff, won't have much for 8th gen stuff. In a vacuum, the Wii-U has a better library than the n64, if not now, will certainly have a better one in a years time.

This is LAW.

I'm not sure about that. The N64 had good number of strong 3rd-party titles, many of which were exclusive to the system. Moreover, 3rd-party games that were not exclusive to the system usually received a "64" version that took advantage of the console's unique capabilities.

Man, GC has been the only home console Nintendo has had in a while that will have good 3rd party support, basically since the 2D era. Nintendo really needs to work on their relations

The Wii had some good third party support/exclusives but no one cared

Give people a few years to put on their nostalgia glasses (and for us to publish a Wii "hidden gems" article).
