1. King of Fighters R-2 (NGPC)
2. Dead or Alive 2 (Limited Edition) (DC)
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time (PS2)
4. Metal Gear (PS2)
5. Capcom Vs. SNK 2 (DC)
6. Sonic The Hedgehog Pocket Adventure (NGPC)
7. Bust-A-Move Pocket (NGPC)
8. Super Puzzle Figher IIX (DC)
9. Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge (DC)
10. Puyo Puyo Fever (DC)

if I had a dollar for every time I beat a game I loved and saw the name Yuji Naka in the end credits...

As a big fan of the Puyo series, I can say that Fever ranks very high. Just a total blast, like all games in the series, but the new Fever Mode is amazingly endorphin-rushing.

Beat the arcade mode, and yeah, cost me a dollar in credits. But this game is no joke. Been playing it on and off for weeks attempting a 1CC, but that's not gonna come easy.

Fun-Fact: this was the last game that Sega themselves published for the Dreamcast. It's also becoming pretty damn scarce, so snatch it up if you get the opportunity. If you are a puzzle game fan you will not be disappointed.

Just beat Resident Evil Deadly Silence, the game was tons of fun. It just reminded me of how awesome Resident Evil was, also loved all bad dialog "you almost became a Jill sandwich".

I had not heard of this..... Looks to be an import, huh?

I don't own a single Puyo Puyo game, that's something that needs to change. Just searched through GameFAQs and damn - there are tons of these games... Looks like two are on N64, that's what I find the most intriguing.

You ever heard of the Madou Monogatari series, noise? Same characters as Puyo Puyo, in fact I think Madou Monogatari actually came first and Puyo Puyo was the spinoff.

if you own any of the Sega collections on PS2/3 then you should own a Puyo game in the shape of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine.

The series is amazing. I love arcade puzzle games.

Fever is basically Puyo 5. And probably my favorite, though I haven't played 4 yet - also on DC. Fever is a JPN exclusive, and a Sega Direct title, which probably explains its relative rarity.

I have no clue on Madou Monogatari - is that the RPG spinoff?

There's a great Puyo article on HG101, BTW.

Compile made a whole crap-ton of different games with the Puyo characters. They were originally from the Madou Monogatari series though, which itself spans numerous different consoles; even a game in the series on the Vita.

Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon is a really cool roguelike that looks really impressive, graphically, on the Saturn.

You might want to check out the Puyo Puyo games for the wii, Noise: Puyo Puyo 7, and 15th/20th anniversary. They're all very much in the spirit of Fever. (Each one being available for the PSP and DS; as well as PS2 port of 15th Anniversary.) There's also a Puyo Puyo Fever 2 for the PS2, DS and PSP. All of theses are import only, by the way.

Dude, that bird had it coming ...
Those birds in Ninja Gaiden can go FUCK THEMSELVES.

Seriously. I'm preventing murderous acts of terrorism by killing those things.

PS - I just got Ninja Gaiden II yesterday for the NES, played it tonight, while somewhat inebriated, got to damn near the end of the game. The birds in that game aren't quite as bad.....until you get to a section in 7-2 where there's fucking THREE of them at one time. REALLY?

Really haven't been playing much at all lately. I have a couple of titles in progress, but haven't put any time in to play. I've been focused on other things. *shrug*

1. Mortal Kombat II - 32X
2. Cosmic Carnage - 32X
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade - XBLA
4. X-men Arcade - XBLA
5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist - Genesis
6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time - SNES
7. Metroid: Other M - Wii
8. Donkey Kong Country Returns - Wii
9. Metroid Fusion - GBA
10.Star Trek - Xbox 360
11.Fable Anniversary - Xbox 360
12.Ranma 1/2: Chougi Ranbuhen - SFC

I did both of these some time ago, just now adding them to the list.

Played through Fable Anniversary twice. Still among my favorite games ever made. I'm a little irritated with this version though, in that both runs through I encountered glitches (freezing mostly) that prevented me from collecting all thirty silver keys, ending with 29 and 27 each time (Yes, I know where all the damn things are, its not me). Obnoxious, but the game is still brilliant and fun, and the makeover suits it well.

Ranma is a fighter I just love. I had two copies, one of which I gave to Joe and Dave at Game Sack. I beat it a couple of times to say goodbye before I sent it off.

A few playthroughs of Ougon Musou Kyoku CROSS's Arcade Mode, on Easy. Managed to unlock Black Battler, who's pretty much an Evil Ryu version of another character, Battler Ushiromiya.

For those who don't know Ougon Musou Kyoku (and the later CROSS expansion disc) is a 2D Tag Team fighting game for the PC, with an Xbox 360 port entitled Ougon Musou Kyoku X (and no, it's not a region-free release). It's also a spinoff of the murder mystery visual novel Umineko: When They Cry.

More info here.

@Pierrot, meant to mention I had played Fever on PSP in the past as well. Forgot there was any on DS... though I do really want to get me some NGPC Puyo. :D
