My favorite games so far this year are:
Deception IV: Blood Ties - This game is seriously addicting and chock full of content. No one will talk about this game when the year is over (especially given some of the bullshit reviews it got), but I'm having a blast with it.
South Park: Stick of Truth - As someone who sort of lost interest in South Park in recent seasons, this game made me kind of love it again. In fact, the game's release got me to watch the Black Friday trilogy since this game builds off of it, and it was pretty funny.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD - Not a huge fan of X-2, but loved FF X on the PS2. I haven't played the HD Collection yet, but having FFX remastered and getting the International version content stateside for the first time gets a big thumbs up from me. I've heard the international version of X-2 is vastly superior to the original, so I may give it another shot. I'll get around to playing this collection eventually, especially since it's conveniently on Vita as well as the PS3

Not counting the Tales of Symphonia Chronicles compilation, the only 2014 game I own is Bravely Default.
And I'll probably get around to playing that in 2020.

I've bought Dark Souls 2 and Bravely Default. I've only played Dark Souls 2 though.
