That's really weird... I don't see it. Then again, there is so much crap on the product page.

Wow, that's pretty obvious. It's not showing up for me though.

That's obnoxious. I don't like how metacritic is becoming the authority on game reviews, especially since it is very bias regarding whose critics it actually factors into its percentage. Gamerankings is this way too. You'll notice a game like Deception IV has a lot of negative reviews posted on gamerankings, yet there are positive ones around the web that it doesn't display at all. If you're not factoring in ALL reviews when compiling your percentage, your site does not have the right to present itself as some kind of authority

I actually like the old system, where you can reader reviews i.e. reviews from REAL gamers, not stuffy, pretentious critics.

Re: Amazon posting Metacritic scores on game pages
Metacritic is based on the assumption that the quality of a game can not only be reduced to a number but also that the number becomes more precise the more people you ask.
I'll be frank, if all you get from a review is whether the reviewer recommends the game or not, you are reading the wrong review. A review should offer not just insight into a game, but an insight on the medium. It should make you understand games better, even if you disagree. Metacritic doesn't do these things.
There's also the fact that Metacritic is a black box, not only there's no way of knowing who is considered "important" enough for them, it is well known that not everyone's reviews have the same weight in the ranking. Obscurity is the enemy of criticism and Metacritic is nothing but obscure.
All this does is give more power to shills and the same big sites and big companies instead of quality critics and niche developers. You aren't seeing a good score for a shmup any time soon, that's for sure.
