Hard to explain, but this happened:

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
To elaborate, some dude called the Cub Scouts dicks. I shared a pic of me and Matt Hall in the Scouts. Hilarity happened, and there are at least four pages of now silly Matt Hall jokes.
Jokes aren't funny when you have to explain them, but unfortunately most of you need your jokes to be explained. Even Noise and Hobie need a bone thrown at them.

Frown: So ready for the weekend so I can get hitched and hopefully the stress level of everyone around me will go down.
Smile: My new company has a very, very relaxed dress policy (all part of the retention program) so I found myself shopping for new shirts online - went on something of a Metroid themed shirt buying bonanza courtesy of Fangamer and Once Upon a Tee. Then a thought occurred to me - does this count as a deductible work expense?

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I don't have a scale so I don't know how much I lost from Christmas to New Years, but my pants were sure awful loose at that point.Michi wrote:prfsnl_gmr wrote:Thanks to a very nasty norovirus infection, I am over halfway to my weight loss goal for the year! I remember the last time I had one of those. I lost close to 10 pounds.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Kind of weird how some of the most "open minded" people are the most close minded I know.
Frown: Didn't get a wink of sleep last night. I noticed others here have been having the same issue. Must be something in the water.
Frown: My dog is losing her hearing.
Smile: After years and years of marital bliss, my wife and I got a joint account.
We're still going to play by the same rules: My money is my money, her money is her money. It works out well for the both of us. So why the change? SECU is better than any other bank I've dealt with. They're no nonsense, no bullsnot. It felt good telling bank of America that I'm taking my money elsewhere.
Bonus smile: Despite not getting much sleep, life is pretty good. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing the game of life with a game genie.
