Gitaroo Man Rocks!
I just got the PSP port of this game and it's fantastic. AWESOME songs, simple, but challenging gameplay and the game is wacky and crazy. Awesome game. I feel bad that I never bought the original PS2 version when it came out. Oh well

Don't feel bad. I didn't get a hold of it (PS2 version) until the reprint. It didn't necessarily sell poorly, it was just produced in limited quantities. Plus, iNiS has made out pretty well. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! sold alright, Elite Beat Agents was published by Nintendo, and Lips is getting published by Microsoft.
But yes, Gitaroo Man does rock. Wait... the title of your thread wasn't a pun, was it?

A pun? Not intentionally, but it does look like thatequalsign wrote:Don't feel bad. I didn't get a hold of it (PS2 version) until the reprint. I can't believe how brutally hard Gitaroo Man is, but I can't complain since I'm seven levels in with B ranks, so I'm doing okay. Like the few other rhythm games I've played in my life, paying attention to the music DOES make a difference in your game(rather than just reacting to onscreen prompts). The cut scenes are very funny and they got a pretty damn good English dub on here. God my thumb hurts after playing this game for awhile though, but it's a great little gem of a game and makes me wonder why I don't play more rhythm games
