Played one of these years ago. It's as underwhelming as you'd imagine. Kind of fun but not any more fun than you'd have without the giant thing over your head.

I have nightmares about things like this.

I've had at least a half-dozen dreams where I'm starting a stage in a virtual reality survival horror game, decide it's too stressful, then realize too late I can't quit until the scenario has run its course and I've either died or reached the goal.
