A WHOLE LOT OF SHAKING GOING ON!

Post by flojocabron »

Looks like mother nature is giving us the works!

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/ ... 15-33.html

they may be little but they do put us here on alert.

didnt feel a couple of them a few hours ago, since I was moving around. But now that I'm relaxing back in bed, I just felt the 4.7 quake at 11:37 PST.

Its been a while since we had some big quakes. Lets hope they dont get as big as this one from two years ago

Do you guys out there have any quake experiences? I have quite a few. Feel free to discuss here.

keep rockin baby!

I think we had two in NY over the past 2 or 3 years. I didn't feel either because I was driving. It's really rare around here.

We're almost neighbors, been quiet at my end lately. Too quiet. Maybe the calm before the storm?

yeah. we get little ones every once in a while.

2's and 3's

But sometimes we get little swarms. Some go away and some are precursors. Hopefully not for some huge ones.

It was pretty calm for a few months. With the occasional 3 (on the richter scale). But mother nature wanted to spook us. Checking on the government USGS site, it looks like theres been about 60 little earthquakes in the past 5 days. Mostly 2s though.

A few years ago I was really close to the epicenter of a 3.5 quake. Its quite the scary surreal experience. Granted, I've been through larger. but that one was one of the first bigger ones I've felt since I've moved down here.
