Mixed feelings : My wife started her new job today. She hasn't worked in about 7 years since our first child was born. We had decided her actually raising our kids vs. daycare, plus the cost was the way to go. She has always planned on going back to work once the kids got older and our youngest starts preschool next year and this opportunity feel into her lap. She's super excited, so I'm happy about that, but I liked the flexibility of her not working

Smile : Everything went pretty smooth getting everyone out of the house this morning.

Smile : Opening Day of Baseball and it's an unofficial holiday in the Motor City. While I won't be at the game, I also won't be working too hard this afternoon.

Smile : Snow is about gone here, played catch with the boys in the yard yesterday and hockey in the driveway.

Frown : I know we will get a least one more snow before it's all said and done.

Don't forget it is also supposed to be almost 60 degrees...time to break out the shorts!

:D Michigan Pinball is here! I can not express my excitement once again for a huge gathering of new and old pinball machines. This will have been my third year in a row going to this and it never fails to be pure unadulterated fun!

:D Signed up to start the online course work to be a licensed teacher. It has been something I have wanted to do for a while but just now got my finances in order. I have degrees in English and History and love discussing both subjects, I just don't have the state criteria needed to be licensed. With my current job, I feel like I am going through the motions and want something more. I know the pay isn't the best but it will be more than I am making now with insurance and benefits, not to mention the cost of living in Mississippi is pretty low. Vacation days won't be bad either  .

:x Shitty work Monday.

:) Ate a Five Guys burger to cheer myself up.

:x Bought parts to build a new PC and for needed switch to W7. My bank account will be $770 lighter.

:) Bought parts to build a new PC. I last bought new PC stuff about 6 years ago, so it will be a pretty good upgrade.
