The best movies to watch in a theater are either animated movies or super overload blockbusters like Marve's The Avenger's.

I think animated movies still take the cake. The nuances really are breath taking, and there is something magical about watching an animated film on the big screen. Simplicity is key.

Agreed. We have a toddler so we try to take her to as many animated films as we can. We took her to see Frozen and she loved it. When it came out on dvd, we surprised her with it and it has pretty much been on a continuous loop in her room

You and I are cut from the same childhood movie cloth. The two most watched movies of my childhood were those too (TMNT 2 a close third, but don't judge me on that). Land Before Time is a great film, not just a family movie. Oh sweet sweet nostalgia.

Also, the original TMNT movie is probably as close as the series has gotten to what I feel embodies the series so greatly. It did risky things, created a broad range of emotions and starred Sam Rockwell as The Foot Tourguide at the beginning of the film....how can this movie do wrong!?

She has already seen both of those and loves them . She gets a wild hair and goes to my movie shelf and picks movies and wants to watch them and refuses to watch anything else. Through this method she has watched the original TMNT, Jurassic Park and the Tundercats.
