I return from the depths of Yu Yu Hakusho! I finished the Dark Tournament. It didn't start off great, but I ended up growing fond of the arc by the end. Maybe it's just because it was so long. That final battle and all the drama surrounding it is like what you'd have for your show's closer. Toguro was interesting to watch and his final transformation made him look like the Frankenstein monster if it ate a 4 ton body builder.

All in all, I liked the arc in the end. The Dark Tournament was so big and so long! How are they going to try and top it?

Pretty sure that scene is from one of the movies. I've skipped most of them though so I have no clue which one it is.

Think it is this one

Macross Frontier was pretty whatever to me, so I'm neutral on the news so far. But ... I guess I could still say Frontier is better than a lot of other modern mecha. So who knows.

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! That's my favorite arc, and the last arc kinda wanes... but the upcoming one is quite good, too. A lot of my friends are more fond of the arc post-DT.

I always refer to Toguro as "Duke Nukem mixed with Arnold Schwarzenegger". Love him. That final battle is so damn epic.
Final Fantasy IX is the best one

I enjoyed Frontier for the most part, it wasn't amazing or anything but it entertained me. Macross Plus or the original series would be my favs. Couldn't watch more then 4 episodes of Macross 7. LOL

I've been watching One Piece. That scene seems to be from Strong World as has already been pointed out. I've only watched the first 6 movies so far but they're worth watching IMO. The first one is really meh and movie 6 is really bizarre and borderline creepy but they're all quite enjoyable if you enjoy the show. Strong World and Film Z seem to be the most widely liked of all the movies.

Oda wrote these himself, so that's probably why heh.

Started watching the english version of Neon Genesis. In the past I watched the subbed version in Japanese, but Its definitely great to watch it in my language. Every intense moment seems so much more real.
