That's the name of the game with PC's unfortunately. Sometimes things work, sometimes it doesn't for one reason or another due to N variables with PC configurations. After over 20 years of PC gaming, tweaking, troubleshooting, and assuming something is going to go wrong with something or other is pretty much the standard mindset I have. But I keep coming back for more... lol...
360 Wireless pad for Windows is a piece of shit
Re: 360 Wireless pad for Windows is a piece of shit
Wow, sorry to hear... I decided to try my receiver out on a few of my PC's and even my Vista install on a Mac with Bootcamp and it seemed to work ok. Could just be something conflicting or wonky with the config on your particular PC.

You cant return anything to circuit city. It was a closeout sale. They're dead.Niode wrote:Guess it's one of the few things that's good about Vista?
I don't really know what to suggest...
If you really don't like it you should just return it. They shouldn't be able to refuse as long as it's within 28 days. Spend the money on a wired 360 controller, or just another controller.
