Yes:

In short, Michael Keaton is Birdman. What else would you need to know?

Final Fantasy: Spirits Within
Great CGI...
Some of the voice acting is a bit crappy
I personally prefer Advent Children.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Of course there's gunshots and explosions. It's a trailer.
Here's The Avengers trailer. And look, it starts with explosions and gunshots.
So I have two complaints, the overall bizarre design of the turtles (someone had to approve that and say "audiences will love this!" right?) and the casting of april. Besides that, I don't care about any changes to the story. Don't we want to see something new?
We're getting a PG-13 version of the turtles, a bigger budget than they've ever had, action that looks pretty decent, and of course this won't be the last version of the turtles we ever see. I'd be much more likely to throw the "raping my childhood" phrasing at the Ninja Turtles live action tv show from the mid 90s, or the final season of the 2003 animated series. This probably won't be as good as the first film, or even the second, but I haven't seen anything boycott worthy yet.

Hadn't seen the new transformers trailer. Marky Mark lol.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
I just saw Peter Jackson's Darren Aronofsky's Noah tonight. Was ok.
Russel Crowe's most convincing acting was undoubtedly when He's pretty good at portraying that kind of emotion in a way that seems eerily natural. Beyond that, I don't think the casting was very good. The effects were hit and miss. The story was interesting and I generally liked the liberties taken with the Biblical account.
On the other hand, because Jennifer Connolly is Mrs. Noah, it is possible to pretend the entire movie is a sequel to A Beautiful Mind and takes place in John Nash's imagination.

Somehow Bay's love of Fox and the dry humping of her in every frame continues.Jrecee wrote:...and the casting of april.
It's a pretty miserable film (the movie is all over the place), but I would rate it better than "okay" for one reason:dsheinem wrote:I just saw Peter Jackson's Darren Aronofsky's Noah tonight. Was ok.
At some point in time of production, Darren said (hopefully out loud) "Yeahhhhh. You know what? Fuck it. Like I give a shit what the Bible says, this story is as silly as it gets. B-Thumpers will believe it anyways, so lets go nuts."
He should have thrown in some non-believers reading penthouse while smoking joints before they stormed the ark.

I'd probably give it a 3.5 out of 5.Luke wrote:
