Re: Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games
A few years ago I managed to snag me four sealed copies of Metroid Prime Trilogy from a electronics store in Sweden of all places.
For some reason they were being sold for the equivalent of £14.99 each! Even stranger when you consider the hyper inflated prices of games in Sweden.
I have three of them still sealed. How much might one speculate I could get for these beauties should I sell? I don't normally do this kind of cynical game buying but the fact that these titles had already been discontinued when I found them made me pounce.

Probably much higher than you paid...especially because they're still factory sealed new like you said...just check out price checker. Some of the games I had or have surprised me what they are listed at. But they are games I'm not willing to part with either way...Betagam7 wrote:A few years ago I managed to snag me four sealed copies of Metroid Prime Trilogy from a electronics store in Sweden of all places.

Even i could of told you that. Anything new, and CIB of a wildly popular series usually goes for quite a bit.Betagam7 wrote:Just checked on Ebay and one went in January for £129 BINdarsparx wrote:Probably much higher than you paid...especially because they're still factory sealed new like you said...just check out price checker. They have dozens in stock at gamestop, new for $45. Unless you are referring to the steelbook version.

Lol. I remember going to Gamestop at midnight to pick mine up in the middle of some Call of Duty release or some bro game like that. Felt so out of place. My choice of games and showering habits set me apart.mjmjr25 wrote:They have dozens in stock at gamestop, new for $45. Unless you are referring to the steelbook version.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
