Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
k, so I just watched the Turtles trailer. Kind of got goosebumps. Don't care if the story is out of cannon, I'm still excited to be seeing a new Turtles movie. And call me crazy, but I kind of like the way they look.

Watched trailer w/my kids - they are excite.
I thought it looked pretty good myself, but i'm not a turtles fan so don't have any attachment to any doctrine that might be being violated.
We'll be going opening weekend.

samesies. I put TMNT in the same category as Friday the 13th movies. If you make one, I'm there, day one. Smiling.mjmjr25 wrote: We'll be going opening weekend.

No, this isn't Gwyneth Paltrow, it is her her Mother from an episode of Columbo.

Did her Father contribute any dna to her? Spitting image.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Heavy Transformers vibe from the TMNT trailer, or is that just how all Michael Bay films feel now?
I finally got around to watching Trainspotting last night. I have had a tape of it since 1998 but never felt in the mood to watch it, or remember that I owned it. The movie taught me two very important things:
1. Never get addicted to Heroin
2. Never piss off Robert Carlyle
The film is a helluva rush and it is obvious why it springboarded Ewan McGregor into stardom. I do not think I will watch it again, but I am glad I did finally watch it, though I did almost turn it off during the bathroom scene and later the parts with the baby.

Incredible film. I persuaded my English 1100 teacher to let us watch it in class my freshman year in college.fastbilly1 wrote:Heavy Transformers vibe from the TMNT trailer, or is that just how all Michael Bay films feel now?

And Spud. Who couldn't love Spud?

Saw American Hustle last night. The fiance is obsessed with Jennifer Lawrence so I sat and watched it too. I enjoyed it. It was long, but almost every scene, to me atleast, was pretty integral to the overall feel and ending. It was kinda like Matchstick Men, but you know, good

Did the same thing last nightSirGawain wrote:Saw American Hustle last night. The fiance is obsessed with Jennifer Lawrence so I sat and watched it too. I enjoyed it. Two main things that kind of burned me out when the film started were Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams.
Bradley Coopers character was horrible they wanted a kind of jittery over eager cop character, and they focused on those aspects way to much. He didn't really have a back story or anything going on outside of the job aside from one really short home scene. His character just didn't really have anything likable about him and ended up feeling like a idiot sidekick for the majority of the movie.
Amy Adams on the other hand had a good character. However she quickly became a pair of tits with a fake British accent thanks to the wardrobe selection. Around 90% of the outfits in the movie have her boobs falling out of them
