TSTR, we already have a bulldozer and a backhoe, so yeah. And on the girl front, we have horses...
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Now you just need a tank!
And weren't you talking about building a castle? Or was that someone else?

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I was trying to figure out how to get the permits to build one, but the zoning board said no. So that is shot, for now. I want a tank, but that is a tall order. I am willing to spend 1.5k on a functioning firetruck then scrapping the back of it to pay for the whole shebang and turning into a heavy load farm truck, but the cheapest I have had ever seen a tank go for is 20k. I cannot swing that. The heavy equipment is all technically owned by our farm so it is justifiable, tanks are considered luxury items.
And after driving a tank they are much cooler on the outside. Sure you feel like a god when inside of it, but you get beat up a good bit. The bulldozer is my favorite thing in the entire world to drive. More so than any supercar. Below is the same model of what we have:

But we have a six foot by nine foot blade instead of a three foot by six foot.

Ah, that's a bummer about the castle. Maybe someday...
And yeah, that bulldozer looks like it would be a smashing good time.

@Cronozilla
Well, if the issue of slavery started a civil war in The United States of America I am guessing the slavery has very deep and important roots in that country and thats what I meant by "built around slavery" . If there was never slavery in America I guess the world history would change. Think of stuff like no civil war, no cotton fields, no assassination of Lincoln, no segregation , no KKK... goes on and on.

Slavery is one of the major proponents of the American Civil War, but so were State vs Federal rights, and the fact that the south was all agriculture and the north was all industry.RCBH928 wrote:@Cronozilla

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Slavery was going on for hundreds of years before Columbus discovered America. America gets the spotlight because we continued the practice of slavery after the end of the actual slave trade. We would have probably moved to indentured servitude and still had cotton fields.

Slavery has been going on since one person decided it'd be easier if he made someone else do work for them.SirGawain wrote:Slavery was going on for hundreds of years before Columbus discovered America. Slavery is still going on.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Does anyone else think its funny that Leland Yee - the California State Senator who adamantly defended unconstitutional legislation prohibiting the sale of violent video games to minors - will likely be going to jail for gun traficking?
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Lots of game devs do. I follow quite a few and Twitter blew up with it last night.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Does anyone else think its funny that Leland Yee - the California State Senator who adamantly defended unconstitutional legislation prohibiting the sale of violent video games to minors - will likely be going to jail for gun traficking?
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.
