A loose GBC game should only cost around $2.00 at the most to ship anywhere in the US with USPS First classdarsparx wrote:Well i would brag about my .99 on tom and jerry for gbc but the shipping ruins it. I just mean that there would be less traffic during the week than on the weekend. The ones here, and when I was at school were weekend only.flojocabron wrote:so yeah we have crackhead fleamarkets!
On the shipping, it shout be considered 'shipping and handling'. That being said, yes $7 plus is ridiculous even if it is a brand new bubble pack they're going to send it in. Inflating shipping fees used to be a thing to try and cheat ebay out of fees, but for quite a while they've been calculated from the total for the item and shipping.

They probably have inflated shipping to cover their low asking price though doubt they will come down but you can always try.
Well they got it on expedited shipping...I don't mind waiting for it to come in if he/she will move it down...as long as it doesn't take 1 1/2-2 wks to come in like it feels like it's taking for dragon warrior...

Yay! The guy is going to try and get the shipping to go down
If he can get it to go down 6-7 dollars that would really make this a deal
He didn't realize the expedited would shoot it up so high....

At the most expedited should have only been $5.25 this thing would easily fit into a small flat rate box with tons of room to spare.darsparx wrote:Yay! The guy is going to try and get the shipping to go downIf he can get it to go down 6-7 dollars that would really make this a deal

On another note I was looking for GB/GBC cases now

Dude from customgamecases.com is talking on The Cover Project about how he's getting custom-made GB/GBC/GBA cases done up so you don't have to modify DS cases anymore. He's got a picture of his proof, it looks dynamite, and he's taking loose commitments of how many people want to buy (he's not taking money yet, just interest check). Claims he's going to do others when he's done too. Should be exciting.Fragems wrote:At the most expedited should have only been $5.25 this thing would easily fit into a small flat rate box with tons of room to spare.darsparx wrote:Yay! On another note I was looking for GB/GBC cases now. Cheapest I could find them was $4 each shipped
. Are there no cheap Chinese manufactures producing these things anymore? Going to get a rubber made for them tomorrow at dollar general I guess. Did manage to find some cheap GBA individual cases as well as a 3DS/DS carrying case at least.

That's the "Pledge" thread... looks like the MOST he's charging is $2.50 a piece plus actual shipping and that's if you're only looking for 1. If you want a couple dozen, you're looking at $2 each for a 25 pack or $1.50 each for a 50 pack. I know he came in higher at first, but with some discussion he figured that would be a price point where he could make his money back relatively quickly and go on to fund other molds. Seems like he's (mostly) doing it as a labor of love, just trying not to lose money.
