I see this question asked all the time around various forums so I thought I'd try and answer.

I admit, I watched this thinking only about Super Bomberman, so I'm quite content.
Funny enough, you didn't mention the co-op in Final Fantasy 6.

You know, not only have I never played FF6 co-op, but I don't ever hear anyone talk about it. It never even crossed my mind when researching or writing that video or when doing my FF6 video either for that matter.
I don't doubt it would be fun to take on a few boss fights with a 2nd player though.
Re: SNESdrunk reviews
I know I said I'd do a DKC trilogy video, but I've started and stopped writing for weeks now. I just... never really liked these games, even though they're objectively very good. But that viewpoint doesn't make for a very interesting video. So rather than do a video just for the sake of doing a video, I'd rather wait until I actually have something to say about DKC.SNESdrunk wrote:Added to the list. Full disclosure: I didn't like it as much the same reasons I didn't like Mega Man X3 -- it's certainly not BAD, but there was an abrupt change in the level design that took the game down a notch from elite to just pretty good.ZeroAX wrote:You should make a video about Donkey Kong Country 3. Why people call it bad compared with the other games in the series (it's my personal favorite, though I accept that 2 is better designed, though it buffles me how some people think 1 is better than 3)

Don't feel bad, DKC games aren't even objectively good (unless we are talking about DKCR).
I'm more looking forward to the shmup video anyways

Re: SNESdrunk reviews
Just finished the SNES shmups video. I'm already familiar with the games, so the quick run through of them didn't do much for me, but I realize the video is made for people that are not familiar with the genre, and for that I think you did a good job.
Some small notes I made while watching the video, of things that may have been worth mentioning (Not that it matters now, but oh well)
Aero Fighters is much cheaper if you pick it up in its SFC version, Sonic Wings. There, it can be had for around $30. I like the game, so I was sad to see that the main point about it was its price tag, even though that is what most people associate the game with.
Biometal has much better music in the SFC version of the game.
Space Megaforce: I was really hoping you would mention MUSHA, since its a much more popular and collectible game in the same series as this one. (I was then hoping you would note that this game is far, far better than MUSHA, but that was more a hopeful wish on my part). This game's weird modes, for me, are the best part, so I was a little bummed to not see those mentioned too.
Phalanx: Okay, I know music is down to personal taste... but Phalanx doesn't come close to having one of the best soundtracks in the genre. Its good, but man, there are a lot of arcade shmups with insanely good soundtracks. Just more a comment than a criticism though
But yeah, overall I enjoyed it. Good stuff man, glad to see you aren't still under the impression that all shmups are the same!
