Time to ask for more recommendations!
I'm looking for albums or bands that sound similar to Mirrorthrone's album Of Wind and Weeping:
Mirrorthrone's later two albums don't have as heavy an orchestral flavor to them.

Re: Metal Heads Assemble!!
I'm a huge Deftones fan. Saw them a couple years back with System of a Down. Which was cool. SOAD, was kind of more like System of a Disappointment. I learned that Surj's vocals aren't 100% real. He has a voice synthesizer on his mic that makes his growls for him. Kinda sucks to learn that.dunpeal2064 wrote:Oooh, time to talk about the Deftones again?
However, Chino is the fucking man. His squeals in real life are amazing. I want to see them again so damn bad.
Also, learned yesterday that Nine Inch Nails is going to be touring with Sound Garden in the fall. However, tickets are approx $115 which is pricey. I'm already going to see Alice in Chains in May, plus I would like to see Down in May as well. Also, I have a feeling Tool will do a fall tour on the East coast, so I want to see that. Aaaannd (you guys can make fun if you want), I want to see Counting Crows in April and Clutch in July. I also have a family trip planned in August.
Unless some of you fine gentlemen would like to donate money to the "Let Frag Have An Amazing Summer Fund", I don't think I can afford it all. Especially considering all of those shows are a minimum 3 hour drive from me. WV is not a good place to live if your favorite activity is going to concerts.

Yeah, that's a huge bummer. I guess this is the end of GWAR; I can't see them replacing his character.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Sad news:

W.A.S.P. fans, is this the crustmobile you've always wanted?
Sucks about the GWAR guy. I wasn't a fan of them, but I thought the costumes were fun and appreciated their dedication to theatrics. Some dude went to a show when I was in high school and he wore the red concert shirt the next day to school. As the fake blood slowly washed and faded out over the next few months we realized it was sold as a white shirt.

I logged in today specifically because of this. I actually was listening to GWAR's Violence Has Arrived yesterday while driving to a funeral and was wondering what they were up to.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Sad news:

God damn it, a sad day for metal.
