Yes, but there's a plastic tab inside the SNES cart slot that you'll need to cut out, just like on the N64.Aramonde wrote:Hey guys does anyone know if JPN/PAL SNES carts fit into NA SNES and vice versa?

Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
J and PAL carts will fit in a JA SNES with the tabs removed, but NA carts will only fit in a NA system. J and PAL carts are the same shape, though I'm not sure about tabs. PAL carts won't work on anything else and vise versa, but J and NA carts will work in the opposite systems with either the tabs removed or using something to extend the slot.BoringSupreez wrote:Yes, but there's a plastic tab inside the SNES cart slot that you'll need to cut out, just like on the N64.Aramonde wrote:Hey guys does anyone know if JPN/PAL SNES carts fit into NA SNES and vice versa?

Thanks guys, i'm asking because when watermelon games releases Project N if they don't have enough money to make both versions it will cause a problem for people who don't want to modify their SNES.

I'd think they'd release it in a rounded cart since that works out the easiest, depending on the notch arrangement.Aramonde wrote:Thanks guys, i'm asking because when watermelon games releases Project N if they don't have enough money to make both versions it will cause a problem for people who don't want to modify their SNES.

Oh definitely! I also love the Mario and luigi series but the first one is one heck of a game, even if you have to use an emulator I suggest you try itdarsparx wrote:Heh that's better than mine right now(which is none) especially since I keep hearing people talk about those three all the time. After getting side-tracked by FF8 and Dark Souls II, I really want to finish up Robotrek in the next few weeks. I think I'm half-way through?

Well I grabbed tom and jerry, and super mario world for SNES jr bringing my library up to 2. I may pick up a game today when I go to get my nes looked at(just because I want to make sure it's fixed right and I don't want to screw anything up and have another gba sp problem) and cleaned properly(along with the games I have for it just to make sure it works and doesn't have issues each time I try to plug and play games....

Add on to my last post because i grabbed a repro of tales of phantasia for $40...which doesn't seem that bad compared to most repros out that especially on ebay. Their other repros will actually be even better to get because tales is just their most expensive to make in house(along with star fox 2 and one other i can't recall the name of)
