I made an error..it was actually 51 hours.. but pretty hefty either way. I have about 16 hours in the city. And yes, it would have been awesome to see the Keepers-stuff return in some way.Wispmage wrote:Well done sir. I'm working my way through it, currently about 15 hours in, 10 of which are probably City exploration and side quests. At this point I feel like the developers were able to retain the core of what makes Thief so enjoyable, but ditching the lore, factions, and Stephen Russell all kept it from being a truly great successor to the franchise.optmusprimenumber wrote:Well I just finished it. 57 hours.. Generally satisfied with the game
Well that's unfortunate. I was really hoping thatoptmusprimenumber wrote:In this reboot it's about the Baron, Thief-Taker, and the Gloom... No Keepers either.Right? I hear NPC's complaining about it, and I just could care less. They should just be thankful they don't have to deal with the rat plagueXeogred wrote:I will have to say the "Gloom" is something I'm not caring about at all here. Just a really old cliche' plot we've seen a dozen times by now in all kinds of media.

So whatsup? Only, what, 4 of us are playing this game?
Re: So Thief 4 anybody?
Only 4 people on the forums with good taste in stealth games apparently
Re: So Thief 4 anybody?
I own it and will be playing it, but I'm being forced to stay downtown away from home at the moment (due to my daughter's health) and won't be able to play more than the few hours I already have until probably mid-April. Or am I one of the 4?Wispmage wrote:Only 4 people on the forums with good taste in stealth games apparently

It's on my list. I want to play Thief 1 & 2 first, and those are taking a back seat to Dark Souls 2, and then will probably take a back seat to the Diablo 3 expansion.

I am 6 hours in, I just have not had a chance to play much as I started Uni as a mature age student 4 weeks ago and the work load is kicking my ass.
Hoping you put a few hours into it today, apparently the implementation of Mantle is better in Thief than it is in Battlefield 4.
Re: So Thief 4 anybody?
Started it then got side tracked by Dark Soul 2. Plan to go back, thought it was a good game and the stealth so far has not been done to the extreme and is a little forgiving. Which is nice when you do not have all the time in the world to make a perfect playthrough of an area.

I wouldn't skip Deadly Shadows if you haven't played it.MrPopo wrote:It's on my list. I want to play Thief 1 & 2 first, and those are taking a back seat to Dark Souls 2, and then will probably take a back seat to the Diablo 3 expansion.
