It's a perfectly honest thing to do and a completely legitimate way to make a living. That said, I think that picking thrift stores professionally would be absolutely miserable.

I know but it kinda stinks that they can clear out 300 games and apparently what may have been all the decent games, I know it's absolutely legal and proper but dang :-\ Maybe in a month or two they'll have some better games, Wizards and Warriors was the only decent thing I saw that I was interested in like i said earlier and i finally got it to work after applying some alcohol to the cart...I need to go through and do that with the rest tomorrow that I already have just to make sure they all work w/out having to jiggle around.

If someone is buying from Save Point Video Games, then he or she probably is not a reseller. The store has good prices, and its prices are not so good that you could make any money reselling its games.

Yeah but 300 of their games? That sounds like a reseller unless someone has 1k+ saved up to spend on games(which I'll be setting up a separate account at my bank for saving for games next month) but still I don't see any normal person having that much to get that many games at once. He even told me that they had all the shelves basically filled up.

My wife would not be too happy - and I don't think it would be very fun - but I could drop $1000 on video games tonight. (I certainly dropped way more than that last year...) I have also seen some local collectors frop $300+ at Goodwill Computer Works; so, I very much doubt that whoever purchased those games did so to resell them. (Save Point Video Games prices even the most common, least popular NES games in the $4 to $5 range. At those prices, buying to resell just doesn't make any sense.)

Well I'll give you that because the game I purchased according to the pricing chart site should go for 1.98 so not much of a deal at 4(no label)

Well going to regret doing it later but: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131140300310?ss ... 1439.l2649

SNES for 28 + 8.55 shipping (36.55 but better than the price chart for it which puts it at higher)

$36.55 isn't bad they are getting harder to find around here and most of the resellers shoot for $60+. About the lowest I have seen one go for locally in the past year was $30 :P.

Yeah that's the biggest reason I was waiting until the last second to put in that last bid(literally I bid 28 on it at 6 seconds to go). Now I just need to start collecting for it once I get my tv :-\

I found a Turbografx-16 controller at a crappy flea market for $3.

I looked all over the booth for the system and even tried to call the person but the store owner said they wouldn't answer the phone. I was so bummed out but I'm still happy. :P
