Lack of gaming friends?

My best friend is (almost) always up for gaming. Usually 3d fighters, but when we lived together we would both be content just watching the other play an RPG or whatever. Less so now that he moved out and we both have full-time (or more) jobs and live 15-20 minutes apart by car, but still occasionally.

My girlfriend is also nominally into gaming, but we still live a fair ways apart and see each other rarely enough that we don't often want to play video games when we get together. I got to spend a few days with her a few weeks ago though and smiled while she bumbled her way through some SMB2, that was fun.
