All this talk about XCOM and I never beat it even after sinking a good 14 hours into it.

I think it would be fun to marathon through that over spring break.

A friend at GDC called me to tell me about this great History of videogames event they have. Then I found this on joystiq this morning:

I think that between us all we have every thing in this except exhibit maybe the Pong trophy and the Neptune.

They bring this to a lot of cons. I've seen some of it at PAX East in years past and when I went to E3 a couple of years ago they also had a pretty big layout. Some of the stuff is damn cool, but I was surprised by how much of it I've seen come through trade lists on here over the years - there's not a ton of stuff that collector's haven't been able to get their hands on that the museum has...

Yeah I spent a lot of time with the MSX and Vectrex at PAX East.
