Likewise with FFVII, I just couldn't get on it but since I'm playing it ten years after release I can't be blamed really. :P What's baffling to me is the attachment people have developed to the FFVII universe. Basically all spin-offs and the movie are shallow but people keep buying them. Many even bought a PSP for that one FFVII game!

I sincerely apologise if my utterings offended you or any FFVII fans  Perhaps I should give FFVII another chance. Perhaps a remake announcement is due soon?

I wouldn't trust them with a remake, man. They'd fuck with it too much. Just try the original again. It's the only one of the core series I ever honestly liked. Yes it's dated, but try to focus on the music and pre-rendered backgrounds. They still shine. And the materia system is still one of the only great jRPG character customization schemes, even if you can break the shit out of it in the end game (which is half the fun).

Isn't there a mod that improves the PC 3D models? But then I'd have to put up with that generic MIDI they used for the Windows port :?

Oh and for lulz
