How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?

As for memory cards: I'm going to merge a lot of my saves across games onto that 4x memory card we got. There's some stuff that won't xfer, like Shenmue, PSO Characters, and Soul Calibur, but that's on my original memory card with the first games I ever owned. I will let you know my results when all is said and done. As it stands I have like 7 memory cards too.

There is a work around. Put in the vmu with the save files that won't tranfer and then start up the game. Once the save is loaded take out the vmu and put in the one you want to tranfer to. Then just save the game. Your progress is now saved on another VMU.

how much did it cost for this arcade stick and buttons? Is it custom made?

Custom made, yes. I build the wooden enclosure, and bought the rest of the parts - a friend connected everything for me as I wasn't sure on the joystick wiring.

I picked up one of those 4x VMU which I plan to keep in slot b. I still want a regular VMU in slot a for the screen. I'm hoping it will allow me to quit the VMU switching. Will have to say bye to the rumblepak though. -1 for Sega not having 3 slots in the controller.

I would LOVE to see you try and hold and use effectively a DC controller stuffed with 3 VMU-slot accessories. Your hands would probably break off (I exaggerate, no?).

in all honesty, I really love the size/shape/weight of standard DC controls. They looks so... wrong when you first see them. But I don't know, something just feels right.

Maybe a slot built in the DC would have been better, especially for a x4 VMU.

Noise, I agree. The controller is the size of the console, but nothing ever felt so natural when playing a 3d game. Especially sports games.

DEFINITELY! The analog stick is fantastic on DC. It has such a good weight and then you've got the rumble pack, it just feels so substantial to take a hit in NFL 2K or something.
