I'm not sure what the 95D is, but it tells you it is a 33.869 Mhz crystal.

I'm not seeing a 33.869Mhz crystal anywhere, but I've found 33.8688Mhz...

http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/e ... -ND/284244

The 0.0002 difference really shouldn't matter.

aparently I have to buy 1000 of those crystals minimum, is there another site?

Ah yes that appears to be a non stock item. You can check www.mouser.com or just ebay.

I checked Mouser and eBay quick and didn't see anything. I guess it's not a popular frequency? It seems to be hard to find on the usual sites I check. Allied Electronics jumps from 32.768 to 48Mhz.

There's this 33.8688Mhz from DigiKey: http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/e ... -ND/862738

edit: I misspoke, Mouser has this one: http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Cit ... EUe18VE%3d

Also, Is it impossible to use the crystal that broke off? Are absolutely NONE of the legs sticking out? If even the slightest bit of leg is still exposed, just solder a wire to it. If none of the legs are exposed, then it might be possible to cut into it a little and expose more leg. I've done this with a broken leg on an IC before, so I'm thinking it's possible on a crystal as well.

edit: Typo

The 95D is probably either the manufacturer or series code.

Not much luck on digikey for radial through hole. (link)

Haha, I just realized in my last post I typed "DigiTech" instead of "DigiKey." I always do that. And not just typing, I mistakenly say DigiTech when I mean to say DigiKey from time to time.

You can use a surface mount crystal. Just solder wires to the legs.

But this looks like what you need from Mouser: http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Cit ... EUe18VE%3d

There's no stock pic, but just click the link for the datasheet: http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/77/HC-49_U-S-3642.pdf

The description looks good to me! DigiTech... this is a video game forum, not guitar gear  8)
