They're both largely the same, more or less. They're about the same price, and they're both sold by Amazon so you can get free shipping. The Logitechs specify a little more power (25w compared to 18w, though that's probably just for the sub and not the satellites) but the Cyber Acoustics have a lot more reviews (4.5 stars with 4,148 reviews, compared to 4 stars with 728 reviews). All in all, I bet they're very comparable. You'd be happy with either, especially compared to that thing you were originally gonna to use. Me, personally, I'd probably go with the Cyber Acoustics simply because of the amount of reviews.

Great, just ordered the cyber accoustics. But i can't see anywhere if it comes with a male to male 3.5mm cable, just don't want it to arrive and not be ready to plug and play.

Thanks for the input (no pun intended) Zig :D

My next hunt is to find a nice sturdy TV stand, probably have to hit up goodwill since modern stands are flimsy particle board made for flat screens that only weigh 20 pounds.

It comes with a standard 3.5mm male-male cable.

There's always the option to build one yourself. You get the benefits of it being custom tailored to your exact needs. The height you want the screen at, the exact number of shelves you need (if any), etc. You can also make it the perfect width and depth to fit the space you wanna put it in (if space is a concern) as well as make it the perfect color to match your room decor (if that's a concern). It's also a fun project, if you're into that sort of thing.

Unfortunately I live in an apartment with no power tools so that project would be rather difficult, but just a nice media center would be perfect.
