Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

 Flipping channels and landed on VH1. There's a song titled "Talk Dirty" where the song is heavy with the sounds of a saxophone. So of course the "musicians" in the video are of course playing trumpets.

Because trumpets and saxophones sound exactly the same.

All I can do is laugh.

That's what you get for watching television intended for 14yo's. They don't know any better.

I knew the difference between a trumpet and a saxophone in elementary school. Maybe I was lucky because we had music class back then? *shrug*

That, or you weren't an idiot and could distinguish between wind and brass instruments.

Well, to someone that hasn't really been exposed to them or how they work, they do both just look like golden things you blow through. But I'd think that most 14 year olds that have been to school or exposed to the media would know by then.

Most kids I grew up with started band in the sixth grade. We didn't go to competitions until the seventh grade, but at the sixth grade level we had to know how to read both treble and bass clefs.

Picked up The Beatles: Hard Day's Night and Rubber Soul today. I think I'll just want Yesterday & Today and Yellow Submarine and I'll be all set with minimal repeats other than my copy of "1". Listening to HDK at the moment.
