you don't have the manual though. I'll check mine. I had only read the basic rules of the game. Haven't read all the extra stuff yet. Maybe there's a better explanation.Ack wrote: Beyond that, no ideas. There is only a single guide for this game that I've ever seen, and it barely contains any info on what is going on, so...guess we're up the creek for a better explanation.

dammit, I forgot to check the manual Ack. But y'know what? I don't love Puzzle Link. It's not bad by any means. But I played it again over the weekend, and it just doesn't suck me in. I think it's because I don't like puzzle games where entire rows are added at once (like Panel De Pon). Like I said, I don't hate it... but I don't love it.

Hey man, no worries. There are a lot of other puzzle game options on the NGPC! If you like puzzlers like the Picross series, why not try importing a copy of Picture Puzzle?noiseredux wrote:dammit, I forgot to check the manual Ack. But y'know what? I don't love Puzzle Link. That said, the oncoming rows bit is only in the Normal game. The All Clear mode is similar to the Puzzle Mode in Tetris 2. I find it a lot more interesting than the Normal game, so if you haven't tried it, I highly suggest giving it a look!

yeah there's a lot of good puzzle games on there for sure. I'm a lot more interested in getting Puyo Pop and Magical Drop first. Both great game series, plus both US releases.Ack wrote: Hey man, no worries. There are a lot of other puzzle game options on the NGPC! Oh, good to know. I haven't decided to abandon the game yet or anything. Still want to give it a fair shot, but the All Clear Mode sounds like it will be of more interest to me. I have been very curious about Shanghai Mini but never picked it up. Have you tried it yet, noise?

Re: Let's talk about your NEO GEO collecting + PRICE GUIDES
last night, briefly. My initial impression is: good game. I used to love playing Win95 Mahjong back in the day. This feels just like it. From what I saw, there was a couple of other modes as well, though it didn't appear to have a save feature or anything. I'll have to read through the manual and see what the other modes are and everything.Ack wrote:I have been very curious about Shanghai Mini but never picked it up. Have you tried it yet, noise?

My system isn't here yet:
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Guess what I got today??
Guess what I didn't get today??
Weird right? The system came from Japan and the game is coming from Massachusetts and the system came first ...
