Never blow on your games again. It makes them worse as the moisture in your breath dries and adds another layer of corrosion. If you've been blowing on the games, then the contacts in the system are now dirty too. :x
I knew Hobie was gonna come chew him out.

Surprised nothing was said about the White Ink Eraser recommendation on the previous page. It should only be used as a very last resort if a pencil eraser does not work. (Hobie pointed this out for the Game Cart Cleaning Guide)

Actually, why does everyone recommend chemicals when a simple few swipes of a pencil eraser usually does the trick without the mess?

I recommend using isopropyl alcohol, but only 90% and above. That and a Q-tip will do wonders. Be careful just to swab the contacts, though. You don't want the alcohol to eventually start to act as a solvent on any glue that's holding stuff together.

I haven't owned a TG16 in years. Maybe Windex would work?

Yeah well, I stand by his comment. You're better off sucking than blowing.

Gargle isopropyl alcohol and then blow on them.

I agree with some of the above, blowing on a cart and it then comes on is just coincidence as a dirty cart may or may not come on due to carbon deposit on the connecting pins.A good liquid clean with contact or switch cleaner or something similar should clean it.
