Well crap.
My only problem with touch screen RTS is numerous, at least in its current state. They need to make touch screens more responsive and more accurate. There are an almost infinite number of times when I have touched the screen and had nothing happen, or have it press a completely different button.

They also would have to implement a multi-point system where I can touch and drag numerous spots on the screen simultaneously for multiple highlighting and command giving.

Even though I personally suck at the RTS genre, I know that responsiveness and multi-tasking are essential and with the current state of tablets and touch screens, that is just not as possible as with a PC, BUT it does have the potential to be better in the future with developing technologies.

I've liked some that I've tried, like Plants versus Zombies (sorta counts I guess) - however, I think tournament level play is heavy on keyboard shortcuts to up actions per minute, which may not lend itself to touch.

In general I think it'd be one of the more promising genres to make touch control versions of though, at least for more casual play.

Civ 5 is supposed to have really good touch controls for those with a Surface Pro (or other Win 8 tablet that's x86-based).

I haven't tried any games on my Surface Pro, but that is one I could try.

Clearly you're spending too much money on wastes like "food" and "quality time with your wife and family".

I have a friend here at work that did that and said it worked great.

Guess this might be a good place for a weird Steam question.

I dual monitor with my TV, so I've been using Steam's Big Picture mode over on that. Works really well, but whenever I exit out of Steam, all my desktop icons are over on my TV when they should be on my monitor. Anyone know what's up with this?

I don't have many icons on the desktop nowadays, but it's still a little annoying.

Is your TV marked as your primary monitor?

Nope. Should it be? I think I do remember I had to mess with some stuff to get Big Picture to be placed on it. Otherwise I want my desktop, toolbar, and everything else on my monitor.
