We can only vote with our money. So I am voting with mine by not buying a particular SQEX product based on it being factually inferior to its Japanese version. In tandem, if I can influence even one person to avoid the same product based on my same reasoning, than that's worth posting about it on a forum for.

I do not know what your definition of "well received" is.

If you mean financially, Final Fantasy X-2 sold over a million copies in the USA for PS2. Here are three different sources confirming this:

http://www.the-magicbox.com/Chart-USPlatinum.shtml
http://www.vgchartz.com/game/760/final-fantasy-x-2/
http://vgsales.wikia.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy

If you mean critically, Final Fantasy X-2 holds an above 85% approval rating on both GameRankings and Metacritic:

http://www.gamerankings.com/ps2/562386- ... index.html
http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstat ... antasy-x-2

So yes, I imply otherwise.

Ok, so why not leave it at that? You've voted, so what's the point in raging on an internet forum?

No, this will just tell SE that people dont want to buy games for the Vita. It also isn't factually inferior, it is just a subjectively inferior version for you. Having the game digitally isn't necessarily an inferior version to many gamers.
The fact we get this game at all on the Vita is something to feel fortunate about. How many other HD collections do we have on it? It is all about perspective.

Can't we end the arguing and just be happy that we are getting an HD remake of what is definitely the best FF game ever made.

I was going to write up a reply, and cover the relevence of your links in todays market, the irrelevence of sales figures when regarding a sequel to what, at the time, was the most popular game on the system, etc.

Since we are stooping to insults, though, I'll save myself the time and go with a:

Yes, comments like these make me mad:

Those are inflammatory comments that add nothing productive to the discussion. I might get banned for losing my cool and calling you guys "fucking nimrods", while those people won't even get a warning for intentionally trolling me.

Anyway I'm done here. I understand I am the only person who finds the X2 HD download situation to be an issue.

As unfortunate as it may be for some, you have to expect this sort of thing when you not only take a stance on something (which is admirable, even if I do disagree with your point), but post it on the internet.

Those posts, to me, just look like a light ribbing. We like to have some fun around here. Whenever I post "I love FF XIII", I thouroughly expect someone to dog on that (and I may even enjoy it!)

I would not worry about getting banned. If what you said was worthy of the hammer, I certainly would have recieved it by now.
