Damn, I just unloaded the music CD. Sorry man, if I get another I will send it your way. Great pickup though, sorry to hear about the 360 LOL.mas wrote:So in the last couple days I just found a bunch of great games for the wii. I thought I was all done with this system but turns out since my wife took over the 360 and playing the south park game I traded up a couple 360 games and got
data east collection (game only)
Mario all stars(no extra music cd but whatever)
new super Mario bros complete
punch out
wario land shake it
tatsunoko vs Capcom
excitebots
marble saga
boy and his blob
metal slug.
Then I went to best buy and found lost in shadow and pikmin 2 new 4.99 each
Then I also got Zelda twilight, spyro, and final fantasy crystals echoes for 5.00 at a pawn shop.
I just want a few more games and then I think im done. Im not going to collect like I did before but like the Saturn I think this is our last gen or current gen if you say for a 2d system. For fans who love 2d this is a great system to go for. I still want muramusa, donkey kong country, the Kirby games, tetris, the snk library, klona, and a couple more. Get them now before gamestop kills the wii.
Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games?

This is most definitely the golden age of buying Wii games and it will probably only go downhill from here. If anyone has even slight interest in buying for this system, now is the time. In two years (or less) the used game market could look very different.

Planning to go on a raid next week and hit the 5+ gamestops that are near by. Need to go through their site bookmark all the games I want then use the pick up at store option to check all the local inventories.

Re: Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games
I rescued some Wii games from local Gamestop's this weekend. I got:
Escape From Bug Island (CIB) - $2
Luxor: Pharaoh's Challenge (CIB) - $2
Neopets: Puzzle Adventure (CIB) - $0.80(!)
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (CIB) - $7
Trauma Center: Second Opinion (CIB) - $2.5
I think Gamestop is about to start throwing out some of the least expensive games; so, now is definitely the time to get them.

It was the one in Marlboro ma. Went there and it was buried in those cleaence bins. I fount lost shadow then i was looking at the ds games and i found a white case with red buried and I new it was a Nintendo selects game and damn score. Sealed with a 4.99 used label but the thing is immaculate.Auron_Amarth wrote:Which Best Buy was this?mas wrote:Then I went to best buy and found lost in shadow and pikmin 2 new 4.99 each

Yes, I agree. This is the best time to be buying Wii games. There's so many great games that can be had used for dirt cheap. Hell, there's even a good amount of games that can be had brand new in the $10-30 range. I picked up Sin and Punishment new at Wal Mart in the $10 bin (it's $10 used at GameStop BTW). I picked up De Blob 2 for $10 new on Amazon.Retrogamer0001 wrote:This is most definitely the golden age of buying Wii games and it will probably only go downhill from here. I made a GameStop haul today. I got:prfsnl_gmr wrote:I rescued some Wii games from local Gamestop's this weekend. I got:

Link's Crossbow Training - $0.44
Ghost Squad - $4.49
Wii Zapper - $7.19
NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams - $1.79
Metroid: Other M - $6.29
Tales of Symphonia - $17.99
I realize that's not a great price on Tales, it can be had used for less online, and new on Amazon for not much more. That's the type of game I'd like to play but I'd NEVER buy it online, it takes an impulse buy in a store.
I was NEVER interested in NiGHTS, but for $1.79, how can you go wrong? And Link's Crossbow Training for less than two quarters? I know it was packed in with the Zapper, but still. It's certainly worth all forty-four pennies.
There wasn't a huge selection of Wii games, and not a whole lot in the $5-10 range that interested me. I'm gonna have to go to another location and make another go. There's one buy my house that's HUGE and they've always had a huge used Wii selection.

Link's Crossbow Training is a lot of fun; its production values are high; and it is definitely worth $0.44! Likewise, Nights is a steal at that price. It is not as good as the Saturn Original, but it is still very fun (and unique). Finally, Metroid: Other M is unfairly maligned, and speaking as someone who recognizes its flaws, it is definitely worth what you paid for it. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did - the boss fights are spectacular - and I hope that you see the game through to the secret (and incredibly awesome) hidden boss.Ziggy587 wrote: It's definitely the best time to be picking up Wii games.

Also, you shoudl definitely stop by the larger Gamestop. With more shelf space, they tend to keep more CIB games on the rack and have a better selection of cheap CIB Wii games.
Happy hunting!

I have been hitting up stores myself hitting what I can, especially on the Wii games. Got a bit of a car drive slotted for tomorrow for one Wii game that slipped by.Ziggy587 wrote:Yes, I agree. That Wii Nights game works beautiful with a Duel Shock and either a Gamecube or Classic Controller to a PSX adapter.

Yeah, I don't recommend playing Nights with the Wii-mote - it's a mess.
I'll be heading to EB tomorrow to see if I track down Endless Ocean 1 and 2, they look so quirky and cool.
