Billy Joel, Piano Man.

Kind of an odd selection to make pasta to, but it's still a solid record.

The Stranger would be better.

Probably not.

There really isn't a Billy Joel album I don't love. What a time for songwriters the late 70's and 80's were. Nothing new to me as I grew up listening to Paul Simon, Elton John, Billy Joel, Queen, and lots of bands of their ilk, but it's a shame that some think of their music as "Oh, I heard that at the grocery store" muzac.

It took me a long time to come around to it, but it is now amongst my favorites. Not his best, though...

i agree, but if it didn't have that nasty, slick-as-hell, early 90's production value, it probably would be. if it sounded like it was recorded in a dark, empty bar like Piano Man or An Innocent Man, but had songs like "And So It Goes" and "Leningrad" on it, i think it'd be great.

Damn it you guys, now I'm trying to figure out which Joel album is my favorite.

Begs the question:

What's your fave Zeppelin album?
