Thanks for the link! Good read and I like the attention paid to the franchise's past.

Having not actually played the full game yet, I'm reserving my opinions at the moment, but I will say I'm not a fan at all of what I've played so far, nor the inclusion of unnecessary "stealth" missions.
It's as if Konami sat Castlevania down, pointed at it's younger brother Metal Gear, and said - "Castlevania, why can't you be more like your slightly younger brother?? Sure, you were our favorite for the first 10 years, but since then you got involved with that Metroid skank, got hooked on the 3D stuff, and now we don't even know WHO you are anymore!"

So I just bought Dracula X Chronicles (PSP) for Rondo of Blood.

It looks like they updated the graphics from the original? Any thoughts on this? I never played much of the original Rondo of Blood but so far it seems to play the same.

Yes it is a remake.

and the remake sucks in my opinion. Just download a gamesave that has SOTN and the original Rondo unlocked and you'll be much much happier with that UMD.

Is the original one the PCE game, cause that game is très excellent.

I've never played it on an actual PCE... but as far as I knew it was the PCE game with English translation and if I recall correctly, a choice of soundtracks.

Yes, on PCE it is very good. Although, I think the intro is in German?

Yes, that part is awesome. Sounds very verboten.
