I have another bare wall that is far wider. I was thinking 3 long shelves at the same height with the same brackets would be good up there. I think i could hold double what is shown already. hopefully that is enough space for the rest of my retro collection + ps2 stuff. We'll see. If it isn't i'll add a fourth row, though i can't see using much more space than that for a while, but then I kind of have a buttload of sega cd games so we'll see.

I might look into that shield, but I honestly don't think it'll make a difference. When you touch the radiator, it is only slightly warmer than my hands. When I touched the wood it wasn't warmer, and the chrome on the sides was flat out freezing. I doubt any damage would come to the carts/artwork. They survived 15+ summers, they'll be fine.

*edit- Because of the arch in the brackets loose carts will fall through them. These guys will only hold boxed pieces, but will hold any of them fine, even cd sized guys like dreamcast games.
