Well it was a bit of a hassle, but much like Noise, i too have a lot of appreciation for Capcom's Vampire series so i'd like to share what i have accumulated over the years in this appropriate thread! Favorite characters in the series has to be Lei-Lei (Hsien-Ko)! There are a few things i couldn't locate like long box Darkstalkers PS1 and a few other goods... but oh well.

Clockwise starting from the upper left Corner:
- UDON DS Tribute Artbook
- Morrigan Figure
- Vampire Hunter SAT JPN (easily my favorite installment in the franchise)
- Lilith Figure
- Night Warriors: DS Revenge SAT US
- Power Foil "Aulbath" Comic
- Sealed PSP Chaos Tower game
- DS complete UDON TPB
- Night Warriors ALPHA anime UMD
- PSP Chaos Tower game JPN import
- Night Warriors OMEGA anime UMD
- DS collection PS2 JPN first release
- Sealed PSP Chaos Tower game
- DS3 PS1

Center
- Sealed PSP Chaos Tower game
- Vampire Chronicle FMS Dreamcast JPN

NOTE!
Am i the only one who thinks "Night Warriors" is a much better sounding title to this franchise than "Darkstalkers"...???

I definitely like the name "Darkstalkers" more than "Night Warriors."

Why do you have so many copies of Chaos Tower?

Can I have that Morrigan figure?

How did you do it? Can you post a detailed instruction for mac book users? I am new to this stuff and just want to play dark stalkers collection on my america ps2 fat.

sorry man, I actually don't even have the game anymore as I stopped popping it in once I got Vampire Chronicle for DC. I'd also have no clue on a tutorial for Mac users as the last time I touched an Apple computer it was a IIE and the year was probably 1992 or so.

That said, looking at my quote above, it sounds like I had just patched it with ESR and then used the program DVD Decryptor to burn the patched image. Sorry if I can't be more help.

Since you have a Fat model:
Best I can recommend is to put it on HDD and play via FreeMcBoot/OPL (the image will require around 4.5 GB). That's what I do and it plays beautifully.

However, I can only get it to load when I hold R1 to go immediately to uLaunchElf and loading the OPL elf file directly. Also, it will only load from a fresh boot, so resetting to the OPL menu (from a different game) will not play the game;
...you would have to turn off the system and reload OPL from holding R1 to go to uLaunchElf.

Weird quirks, but as long as I can get it to play without too much trouble, I can't complain. Combined with my PS2 to Saturn controller adapter, this is my favorite way to play the game(s).

I did patch it with ESR as well, but I have no idea if that had any effect on the getting it to work.

Best of luck, whatever you try
...just another lost soul...
