Could it be your controller or the ports?
actually, everything seems to be working EXCEPT for the item switch command in Batman (which is start, not select). Can't imagine why that might be.

Interestingly enough, I'm using my top of the line Geforce on Far Cry 1 & 2, Deus Ex, UT2004, Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, and Serious Sam The First Encounter right now

One who thinks this has a very narrow minded view of what a game can be.

Didn't want to, but I don't really want to hunt for a $70 used copy down the road. I have a feeling the game will be released in limited quantities.

I hate pre-ordering and hate paying full price for games.

Now just how bad is this Digital River I've heard so much about?

In other news, I think I'm going to go for a full collection of T&E Soft golf games, as well as a complete set of EA PGA Tour (pre-Tiger Woods) golf games.
I did the same thing because of that dumb terminology they used.

Digital River is not good at all. I've used services that rely on them three times ... and have only had the order fulfilled once.

They cancel orders without telling the customer ...
or refunding the money quickly.
Customer Service doesn't understand anything about how their own company functions or handles things. They are entirely ignorant.

The most infamous of situations was them allowing magnitudes more copies to be ordered of Ni No Kuni Wizard Edition than existed ... and then choosing to fulfill people who had bulk orders first. I was lucky enough to get one ... but it's the only time I haven't got burned from DR so far. The other time I did ... was when using SquareEnix's store ... so ... we'll see.

In essence, Digital River is just a really mismanaged distributor whom doesn't know its face from its ass and generally gives you the wrong one when you try to get some answers. They will refund orders and don't ask too many questions to do so, so I don't think it's a necessarily fraudulent organization ... but it is inept.

Love to hate this game. Beautiful game, but sos on every friggin mission and the story is crap. Can't see myself beating this game this year unless I spend days on it.
That sounds odd, the entire game is only 12 hours or so.

The story has some charm to it. It's very hong-kong-pulp, but it's definitely not something represented in games often.

I can see people not liking it, but I loved it. I beat it in like three 3-4 hour sittings. Then I went and 100%ed it. I still have to do that again, since then I bought most of the DLC. Which is lots of fun ... if you liked the game.

The only thing I thought was Bullshit in Sleeping Dogs was if you wanted to get the gambling challenges. Cock fighting isn't remotely fair and makes almost no sense.

I'm going through my Master system games and I've noticed that some carts names dont match the box.

On one of them It says Wonderboy in Monster Land

but the cartridge itself says this:
