Seems that this is the case with Thief too. Emwearz is having tons of issues with the PC port of Thief. Maybe Square Enix games are best not played on PC ... :(
I finished TR without any issues.

Forgot to mention back when I actually beat them, but I recently finished Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, 9.03m, and then Far Cry 3.

AC:Bro was alright. Been a while since I last played an AC game, so it felt pretty fresh overall. Still not that amazing though as I've never been the biggest AC fan.

9.03m wasn't very... fun, you could say. Basically you walk around on a beach and pick up objects that have memories attached to them. There isn't an actual plot line or anything, the memories are random and not attached to one another in any way, and the game is actually completely linear. Now normally I like story driven experiences like this (I loved Dear Esther and Journey), but that's because those sorts of games are usually dripping with atmosphere and have a good story to them. This didn't really have a story, and the atmosphere doesn't have time to set in since the game only lasts about 15 minutes. But hey, the game was made as a relief effort to aid victims of that Japanese tsunami that happened a while back, and it was only $2. So I'm not gonna complain.

Far Cry 3 was passable. Despite the game getting so much praise I couldn't muster up any real excitement before starting it up. Still managed to finish the game feeling disappointed. The shooting mechanics were solid, the jungle setting was pretty nice, the story was kinda interesting, and the basic open world RPG type elements helped spice up the gameplay a fair bit. Over all just nothing about the game stood out to me as being particularly imaginative or really well done. I can stand a game that does nothing imaginative if it does what it does really well (Examples: The Last of Us, DMC4), but Far Cry 3 felt sloppy in a lot of areas and overly scripted at times. Throughout almost my whole time playing I couldn't help feeling like I could be having way more fun with a better Open world RPG/FPS hybrid game like Borderlands or something.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Well maybe after some patches Thief will be right as rain.

1. Hotline Miami (PS3)
2. Boulder Dash XL 3D (3DS)
3. Mirror's Edge (PS3)
4. Orcs & Elves (DS)
5. 3D Dot Game Heroes (PS3)
6. Justice League Heroes: The Flash (GBA)
7. Metal Gear (MSX/PS2)
8. Wario Land: Shake It! (Wii)
9. LittleBigPlanet (PS3)

Although I am not adding anything, I would like to note that I completed all of the hidden maps and located all of the treasures in Wario Land: Shake It! last night. The bonus content is incredibly challenging, and it adds many hours to an already great game. Accordingly, if anyone is thinking of playing this, I recommend playing through the "hidden" levels too.

I am also a few levels away from clearing all of the bonus content in LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year Edition. The bonus content (i.e., the Metal Gear Solid levels and eighteen developer-selected, user-created levels) are way better, IMO, than the "story" levels; so, if you are thinking of purchasing this game, I highly recommend getting the Game iof the Year Edition.

The question becomes though, did you shake ... "it"?

To uncover the hidden maps and treasures, I shook just about everything; so, the answer is a definitive "yes". Also, my poor, suffering wife - who shares the couch with me in the evening - is very relieved that I finally finished the game so that she no longer has to suffer through me violently shaking the Wii remote for about 30 minutes each night.

(To critics of motion controls, I must add that shaking coins out of bags, shaking garlic out of enemies, and commanding Wario to punch the ground is insanely fun.)

If the PAL title of the game is anything to go by, 'it' is in fact a dimension.

1. Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds - 3DS (January 2014)
2. Pokemon Red - Game Boy (February 2014)

I got Pokemon fever when Twitch Plays Pokemon got going. Today I beat the Elite Four before TPP did, then beat Gary, then caught Mewtwo. I have around 10 Pokemon lined up and ready to go for Pokemon Stadium. I'm either going to play through Silver on GBC and then jump into either of the Pokemon Stadiums, but I'm not sure what I should do yet.

#7 Rain for PS3

Decent little game, short. Nothing major invented here, not even really challenging. At times the game was difficult due to not being able to see your character. Gameplay was simple, as well as the puzzles and platforming. Best lest when you need an easy diversion in your gaming.
