The Dreamcast History Project

Post by GagaMan »

This might interest some of you Dreamcast nuts around here, I've started working on a Timeline of the Dreamcast's ten year history, currently working on Japan game releases. I'll also be adding other points of interest and games that were exclusive to Europe and America eventually, and it's going to be a long, on-going project, and I might need help on gathering the names of a load of the Japanese games (segagaga domain has been a good resource so far). I'm doing a bit to it every day so keep coming back. The more you zoom in, the more you'll see!

I also have a video of (almost) every single Dreamcast game released in Japan in chronological order. I found all these covers and my release date info at sega.jp, where they still have a complete archive of every game that came out right up until 2007 with Karous.

Neat chart. You're still going to be pretty busy for a while yet!

Indeed! I'm mainly working on listing games that already have English titles, or ones I can easily find English titles for. All that anime dating and majong stuff can wait until all the good games are up. =)

That actually looks pretty cool. Maybe you can help someone get a Saturn one started as well.
