Agreed, that's just sick looking.
No!!!!! Stop the sacrificing!!!!

Just use the DVD cases it looks good enough. Well I guess it does look amazing, I will give it that. I just can't bring my self to gut a game.
i have no problem gutting a copy of Madden 97, man. you shouldn't either.

Was it from Amazon? My brother ordered one from Amazon that was in the 17k range. He was hoping for a lower number. I think the early Digital River orders got the pick of the litter. Still quite a gamble for me after the Ni No Kuni debacle.

I have no problem with this either, and the other day, I realized that I have purchased six copies of World Championship Poker (Xbox), none of which have been added to my collection. It is like my go-to game for Xbox replacement cases, and I feel I should buy a copy to keep at some point just to honor the other copies' sacrifices.

I think "gutting" games is okay as long as the inserts aren't thrown in the trash. People may want them.

it'd be cheaper (and nicer-looking) to just buy replacement green DVD cases. you can get ones that match the original xbox hue.

I put them in DVD cases (or whatever crappy case I am replacing), and I once I accumulate enough, I sell them all -a long with any other accumulated gaming detritus - in a "junk box" auction.

This is probably true, but in my experience, the dimensions of DVD cases are slightly different. Moreover, I usually only need one at a time, and I don't want to keep around a bunch of empty cases.

Yeah, that one was from Amazon. My lower one (8822) was from Namco. I've heard of people getting higher numbers with Namco and lower with Amazon, etc. I also preordered as soon as they were available on both websites. It's a crapshoot.

Its not a look what I found, but look what I traded....

I have a friend of a friend and he told me he had some Master system games that he wanted to trade for some NES games.

So when I finally had a chance to meet him, I took all my doubles of my NES 'cart only' games and we traded stuff.

I gave him a good deal in my opinion and he gave some CIB Master System games.

I gave him: Bubble Bobble, Bucky Ohare, burgertime, dragonwarrior, Iron Tank, Joust, Kid niki radical ninja, legendary wings, mike tysons punchout, tengen pacman, super mario bros 2, Teenage mutant ninja turtles,

I ended up getting this!

Yes, that is a USA sonic! :D But someone back in the day half peeled off the sticker

So I got rid of some of my NES doubles and got some CIB mastersystem games!

not bad I guess.
