1. We Love Katamari (PS2)
2. Major Minor's Majestic Marching Band (Wii)
3. Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (3DS)
4. Petz: Wildlife Rescue (Wii) (Don't Ask)
5. Flow (PS3)
6. Journey (PS3)
7. Shenmue (DC) (5th completion)
8. Ben There, Dan That (PC)
9. Serena (PC)
10. Graffiti Kingdom (PS2)
11. Bushido Blade (PS1)
12. Super Bomberman (SNES)
13. Metal Gear Solid (PS1)
14. Way of the Samurai (PS2)
15. Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening DX (GBC)
16. Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
17. Dust: An Elysian Tail (PC)

Donkey Kong Country
This was my first time playing Donkey Kong Country as I have had incredibly little experience in the series, having played only a small amount of Donkey Kong Country Returns on Wii and I was pleasantly surprised. I want to state that I am not a fan of the art style of the game, as I find it to be really rough, but for the time, I could see it being amazing. The level of challenge is mixed almost perfectly and I found only a few instances of cheap tricks like enemies hiding at the bottom of a hill that you can't see until the moment they hit you.

My only real gripe dealt with the snow levels as for some reason I found them to be incredibly infuriating. Outside of that, I had a blast and am glad to have had the chance to play it.
Dust: An Elysian Tale
Dust is an idie 2D brawler with inklings of a MetroidVania game. With it you play Dust, a character ironically plagued with amnesia as he wanders lushly colored world torn by war. With you is a talking magical sword and Fidget, your super cute talking cat-bat. The combat system is seemingly simplistic, but incredibly addictive as you launch characters and utilize your sword and Fidget's magical abilities to intensify the damage and elongate the combos. Playing for roughly 9 hours, I can say that I never once felt bored with how combat played out. As you traverse your adventure you unlock the mysteries of your identity while doing sidequests and exploring the environment. The game features a pretty simple crafting system, which didn't interest me much.

Animation is where this is. Everything seems to have a lot of weight to the sprites. Fidget's wings batting seem to have a strong sense of reality to it, the flow of lava and the fluttering of your cape seems so small a detail, but feels so weighty and real. Visually, I love the game as everything has such vivid colors and elaborate backgrounds. Such a great game!

Isn't the underwater theme in DKC one of the most relaxing things you've ever heard?

If I was a stoner I would listen to that on a loop.

Assassin's Creed IV WiiU
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon PC
Splinter Cell: Blacklist WiiU
The Wolf Among Us: Episode 1 PC
The Wolf Among Us: Episode 2 PC
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut WiiU
Jazzpunk PC
Pikmin 3 WiiU
Call of Duty: Ghosts WiiU
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze WiiU
Tomb Raider (2013) PC

Ya know. I enjoyed the new Tomb Raider game a little more than I thought I would. Anybody looking for an Uncharted style game on PC should definitely pick it up. It's a beautiful game filled with all the climby-jumpy-shooty you could want. However, the story is leagues behind the Uncharted series. Maybe it was the voice acting or the premise in general, but, I really just found it hard to tolerate the cutscenes and story bits. The gameplay part though, that was top notch. It still took me a long while to get around to beating it and it's not a terribly long game. I just don't think it's quite as amazing as some make it out to be. Still, I think the sequel will probably be one to watch out for if they improve on everything seen here.

I think the voice acting is fine, the actors did a good job with the material they were given. I agree that it wasn't great, but I also didn't think it was atrocious. That said I think the gameplay topped Uncharted. I'd love to see this running on PC, I played it on 360 and it looked amazing for a 360 title.

I played a few hours on PC and while it looked pretty decent, I ran into multiple game-ending glitches which were a big reason why I eventually just gave up with it. There wasn't enough in the gameplay department to suck me back in.

Seems that this is the case with Thief too. Emwearz is having tons of issues with the PC port of Thief. Maybe Square Enix games are best not played on PC ... :(

It's funny because the last several years their PC ports have actually been really really good. Deus Ex, Just Cause 2, etc.
