"BIG" NBA follower here (since the early 90s), i also have a fantasy league. I love the moves my Golden State Warriors made to improve their bench to have a deeper run to the playoffs. Another move i like is the Pacers trading Danny Granger for Evan Turner. Pacers looks to be the team in the east coast that has a chance to knock of the current champs. Their big and got more athletic after the all-star break (built to beat the Heat).

@noisredux...at least their not the Lakers this year.

Not that I'm that into basketball.

*The East is so bad that the Bobcats will probably make the playoffs and have a decent shot to advance if they play the Raptors or sumpthin'.

*Al Jefferson was a great acquisition and is paying off in spades.

*Changing back to the Hornets will be pretty sweet.

yeah the Granger move was hard to swallow after he had been here for 9 years, during the "dark era" of Pacers ball. it sucked to see him go with the team closer to being more championship-ready than ever before, but i think it was a smart move in the long run. i was in-house for the lakers game the other night and watched evan turner play his first game as a Pacer and it just reaffirmed my trust in Larry Bird's decision making :)

also just got a call from my friend and he somehow scored us 7th row seats to the Pacers/Bucks game tonight, so i'm gonna see if i can get Larry to sign my 7800 copy of One-on-One.

Never quite forgiven the NBA after the 98'-99' lockout and the bullshit touchy feely fouls called nowadays, but really enjoy double headers on ESPN and TNT. West coast teams are usually fun to watch, and live sports after 11pm is a perfect excuse for some late night beers and pizza.

The NBA on TNT panel is hands down the best panel of talking heads in all of sports. Even if the game is a blowout the banter between those guys is worth watching.

I believe that's when I stopped watching the NBA as well. As a kid from Chicago growing up, the NBA was still at the bottom of the sports totem poll until Jordan emerged. Incredible years for sure.

But I can't watch a pro game these days. Flopping all over the place, style over fundamentals, tons of show boating, not enough defense, and the MUSIC. Am I watching the NBA or an And One tournament?

I will watch the intros if Will Ferrel is involved:
