The Most Collected Game Console on Racketboy
Re: The Most Collected Game Console on Racketboy
Hahaha glad to see Falling Stars get it's due! Luke, you and I share that interest for sure, I collect really bad movies- in particular VHS/DVD screeners of movies so bad they never even made it to direct-to-home video formats. I also am a nut for really bad 80s-90s action/sci fi flicks.
But to get back on topic... if you ever want to test out what I believe ranks amongst the worst of Xbox try out Chicago Enforcer lol, it honestly felt like I was playing through some cheesy game design college kid's first demo project.

Do you ever get a chance to play many of those games?Jmustang1968 wrote:I own 200 NES games
next in line is the Genesis at 119 which just passed up PS2 at 116
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Re: The Most Collected Game Console on Racketboy
The platform I have the most games on is PC, by an enormous margin. It's double the next closest platform, which is PS2. After that is probably GameCube or Wii. But these numbers have more to do with WHEN I had money, not what I like the most.
My favorite to hunt for is probably NES or SNES. It's still fun to collect for them in my area. And recently I got some sweet deals on NES games and odds and ends. N64 junk is pretty fun to come by also. Genesis, Sega CD, Saturn, and Dreamcast, are all bargain binned in my local stores, so it's cool finding that stuff, but it's not remotely difficult. TurboGrafx is so rarely seen it's actually amazing if I come across it. :\

Oddly, that's the exact same number of Genesis games I have. (Not including CD and 32X games; though yours probably doesn't either.) Too many of them are kind of crappy, or cartridge only, though.Jmustang1968 wrote:next in line is the Genesis at 119

NES, but I rarely touch the console. Go figure.

Re: The Most Collected Game Console on Racketboy
Three or four years ago I voted NES, but there was a lot of crap in that collection. Yes, some of it was the kind of campy crap that Luke mentioned. I had Karate Kid for NES, Bill and Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure, Top Gun, Back to the Future, Nightmare on Elm Street, and that silly cartridge with Fabio on the cover (I think it's called Iron Sword). They were all campy fun to play once, but I never played them a second time.
Today, my NES collection has slimmed considerably to just my favorite cartridges. My most collected system now is Sega Genesis, and they're all solid A+ titles. I effing love my Genesis collection. If the time comes that I have to move, I have considered selling everything else, and just keeping my Genesis games.

The PSP may have been cut for "obvious reasons" but it's my largest console collection by far.
I have even more games on PC.

Mine is PS1 but GBA is a close second.
They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe, yet.
