JRPG is the next genre and we chose Suikoden! Gotta collect em... err all 108 Stars of Destiny!!
Platforms:
PS1
PSN (PS3, PSP, Vita)
This game is the start of a great RPG series. It should be easily attainable for most and can be found for about $20-30 for a cib copy and $10 on PSN.
Who plans on playing this one?

I think I'm probably up for this one since I already have the game. I've never done a Together Retro though, when does this get going?

Definitely going to be playing the Saturn version for this. Only problem is that I'll have to play the PS1 version of the game again in order to replay the series with the Japanese ports. Probably a good problem to have. At only about 25 hours, I could probably play through both versions, back to back, in that two-month window.

I think I have this on my PSN account, but it didn't hook me quickly and so I deleted it locally. Does the game pick up?

We start March 11th.
And Popo, I enjoy the game throughout. Not as strong as II but still a good one.

Does it have random encounters? I usually find that kind of annoying.

Together RPG: The Year of Recruitment?
I'll definitely be playing this. I've made it pretty far on several occasions, but have never actually finished the game. Now I just need to find someone with a ps3 so I can transfer the game to my Vita.

If I can find a PS1 copy cheap locally I may just join in. Looks like a cool game.
