I got some more stuff.

I thought the Banpresto DXF line had a reputation for poor quality, but after seeing some in person I had to change my mind. That Black Hanekawa is beautiful.

I got the GSC Racing Miku 2012 recently. Will have to post a pic or two sometime. Maybe I'll wait til my Deep Sea Miku comes in.

Wow, that's one cool figurine! Do you save the original boxes they come in, or just toss 'em?

Thanks, I thought so too. GIFT's stuff is all amazing. Saber's face is especially beautiful. When I see a figure like this, I wonder what the ancient Greek and Roman masters would have to say about the modern PVC sculptures. It's pretty exciting that today even a low-income laborer can become a patron of the arts...of course, I'd rather become a billionaire and fund my own anime production, market be damned.

I always keep the boxes. Getting rid of them would seriously lower their resale value. Although this one didn't have any, many boxes have important instructions, extra parts and accessories, or pretty illustrations. If you ask me, tossing a figure box is way worse than tossing a game box after you put the CD in a binder.

*Sneaks in through the back door as if he never left...*

I've been wanting this since we lived in Houston and I finally managed to snag it after a big increase to my credit card. This is Calne Ca and she's extremely detailed. I was very impressed with her, but I think the box is my favorite part. :P

Asuka and Etna are on their way from Japan as well. Even though my game collecting has been put on hold for a bit, I figured I should get some other stuff to fill my shelves with.
