Anyone see the Punisher War Zone?

Just wondering if anyone has seen it yet , I know its super gruesome, buts is it any good?

I haven't seen it, but I can't wait. I hear people talk about how it's just an action film, and that's what is appealing about it to me. I just want action. I don't want meaning, or something that makes me thing. I want a stone cold Punisher blowing people apart, just as Punisher should be. I'm excited!

I'm cautiously optimistic. Last Punisher flick was AWFUL. You could tell the director never picked up the comic.

I'm a fan of Ray Stevenson (new Frank Castle) from the Rome series on HBO.

Critics seem keen on hating it but (strangely) I didn't find the previous Punisher film to be that awful. I'm not into comics though so maybe that's why. I guess this one might be worth a rental.

This is going to be the type of movie most critics are going to hate. In general, comic book based movies are panned in the reviews. This looks to be much closer to the source material.
