So this past weekend I bought a few 360 games. Transformers fall of cybertron, tekken 6, and resident evil 6. Well I had today off and every half an hour or every hour I tried to play these games I get sick to my stomach and my eyes are hurting bad or I get a really bad headache. I was far away to play the games and I wasn't in the dark I was playing in daylight. Now I had this done to me with the wii and the ps3 and I cant really look at the ps4 without doing the same thing.
So has this happened to anyone?
I never have problems with any other systems like the previous generations. I can play dreamcast all day and anything further back no problem. But it's current consoles that's killing me. If anyone has any info or anything like this let me know so I don't do any damage to my eyes
Has the ever happen to anyone else? Need advice

Do you have a history of motion sickness? Are you playing on a huge television? I have found that when I play games on big televisions I get a headache, even Dreamcast and older.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!

Consult a doctor, you may need some new glases or you have developed motion sickness.mas wrote:No. Never had before and i play everything on a 19 inch flat screen. My eyes are hurting and my headache is a good one

Do you guys think its the hi resolution in video games today that's doing this to me?

If it happened to you with the Wii, then I highly doubt it. If that's really a concern of yours, you could try playing while wearing fogged-up sunglasses, I reckon.mas wrote:Do you guys think its the hi resolution in video games today that's doing this to me?

I'll go against the grain and say don't go to a doctor, don't get one dimensional, and sleep on it.
Some people ralph during IMAX movies. If you are getting a bit disoriented, that's nothing uncommon. If you can't fall asleep, have throbbing headaches, and can't keep food down that's one thing. But having a bit of vertigo or queasiness and uneasiness after playing a game, take a break.
Practice some simple breathing and try to let go of any anxious feelings you may be experiencing.
And read. Seriously mas, trade in the games for a book for a while. It's very possible that like most people you are over stimulating yourself. Even if it is a comic book, read and relax, as they go hand in hand.
Don't worry about being worried. It's a waste of time. And if you do feel freaked out, channel that energy into something positive. Draw, write, run, stretch, make macaroni art...anything beats being a worry wart.
